This quick recipe for weed coffee cake is perfect for morning munchies. The cinnamon and sugar really mask the marijuana taste (if that’s not your cup of coffee).
I used a mix from Trader Joe’s, but you can get the same results building the cake from scratch.
Coffee cake mix
1/3 cup marijuana cooking oil
2/3 cup milk
3 1/3 tbsp unsalted butter
Step 1: Make yourself some cannabis-infused cooking oil.
Step 2: Add the oil to your coffee cake mix.
Combine the mix, marijuana cooking oil, milk (I used soy) and egg into a bowl and whisk it together. It’ll be sticky and tough to spread. Worry not.
Step 3: Combine the cinnamon crumb topping mix and butter in a bowl.
If you’re looking for extra goodness, go with cannabutter. I just went with regular. Your call. Use your fingers to mash up the butter.
Step 4: Layer the two mixes in a pan.
You can spread the crumbs across the top of the cake, but I prefer a layered look, so I smeared out half the cake mix, followed by half the crumb mix, followed by the other half of the cake mix, followed by the other half of the crumb mix.
Step 5: Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes.
